The trail towards Monterey is on the left.
In the middle of the picture is the brush and dune separating the trail from the ocean. Monterey's portion of the trail is not very scenic, but it is a good commute route between Monterey and Seaside.
The trail back towards Seaside is on the right. Oops, didn't quite get turned around to get the full trail in the picture.
