is the way South, toward Cannery Row and Pacific Grove.
You have reached Window on the Bay. Monterey has one of the most developed waterfronts on the bay but many years ago the City of Monterey began a project to open up water front views. Here at the entrance to the city we are slowly regaining some really beautiful views.
The lower
picture is the way North toward Seaside.
Fortunately the beach has always been State owned. Now the City is slowly acquiring the properties along Del Monte Ave and creating a park. Scroll down or click here for a 360 degree view at this location
