A typical scene along the the trail in Pacific Grove. Every day is different, depending on the mood of the Bay. Some days is like a lake, others can yield spary clear up on the trail. There is a nice park under the big tree ahead. There are benches along the bay side for relaxing.

The red tile roof in the distance is the Hopkins Marine Station, a division of Stanford University. The cove just as you reach the Station often is populated with lots of harbor seals or sea lions, depending on the season and time of day.
